Cheese, pasta...oh my!

Have you ever participated in meatless Mondays? It seems to be a trend sweeping across many kitchens, and while I do not adhere to a vegan diet, there are recipes that are meatless and they are good!!

The Barilla Baked ziti with cheese recipe is one I recently tried... Not once but twice!!!
Most people believe it is time-consuming because the recipe indicates to heat the milk. Let me help you, you can skip step two entirely! That's right the milk does not need to be heated in a separate pan... Yay less dishes to clean up!!
Simply melt the butter first, then whisk in the flour to make a roux. Continue to whisk the roux, and slowly pour in the milk.
Follow the remaining directions except try switching in Panko for the fresh breadcrumbs it'll make a difference... A yummy, crunchy difference!! #AllstarsBarilla
