Oodles of Noodles


My life is busy, and I'm sure many readers can echo the same sentiment. The last thing I want to do at 2040 hours (8:40 pm for my non-military time readers) is cook dinner.  I do *LOVE* cooking, but not at that hour!  What to do?  Well in my case I turned to a Smithfield recipe.
Who doesn't love food with Asian flare?  The best part...this can be done start to finish in under 15 minutes!!!  This delicious noodle bowl is the creation of the lovely folks at Smithfield; I stuck to the recipe with the exception of switching to sesame oil instead of using olive oil. To me, sesame oil gives this dish more authenticity.
Don't like pork, don't worry.  Feel free to substitute shrimp, beef or chicken. If you crave more veggies, toss in some carrots, snow peas, water chestnuts, etc., You're only limited by your imagination!
