Pretzels galore

In April I posted a blog about an assignment I had involving pretzels. Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps®. asked the Allstars to create some recipes using their product. Normally, I would jump for joy, but not when my creativity is restricted. 

My two bags of pretzel crisps were actually pretzel crumbs. This was a challenge because any recipe we created required us to keep the pretzels intact. I thought about a sweet and salty effect and decided to go with an S'mores style recipe. I chose to create recipes that served just one. If I learned anything it is simply the Snack Factory company needs to re-think their packaging and use a sleeve-style package in order to keep their product whole.

Inviting Knorr to dinner

This month has been amazing! I am once again working with Knorr, and this time it's not creating a recipe, but I am using their product to make dinner, and let me say they have some delicious dinners!

My life is busy, and I'm sure many readers can echo the same sentiment. The last thing I want to do at 2040 hours (8:40 pm for my non-military time readers) is cook dinner.  I do *LOVE* cooking, but not at that hour!  What to do?  Well in my case I turned to a Smithfield recipe.

August has been a busier month than usual.  I had not one product sponsor I was working with, but I eagerly volunteered to work with Barilla Pronto Pasta!  What's not to love about pasta?!  It is a good, healthy carb and who doesn't love the cheesy goodness that often accompanies pasta, especially when it's Macaroni and Cheese!!!

As August has started, I find myself LOVING Swanson's Broth & Cooking Stock!!!  I have been able to make many incredibly awesome dinners that are both simple, tasty, and fast!!!

Life has been BUSY lately! My day starts out at 0530...and I usually am not home until 2100. Given my busy schedule I'm appreciative of food that's fast..please note I did NOT say "fast food".
